The Vision Ned Rig Jighead is the finesse end of our jighead range — a mushroom head with a welded wire keeper, built for the Ned rig and for the soft TPE baits that slide off anything else.
The keeper is the part that matters. It holds a gel-soft bait straight through the cast and the retrieve, so the bait is still sitting correctly on the tenth cast rather than bunched around the hook bend. The mushroom head makes the bait plane down on a slack line instead of dropping like a stone, and when it reaches bottom the bait stands at about 45° — tail up, hook point clear. That standing attitude is the whole reason the Ned rig works: the bait looks like it is feeding, and the hook is in the right place when a fish takes it.
Fish it slowly. Cast, let it settle, then move it in short drags with long pauses. Most takes come while it is sitting still.
The heads come in UV-active and natural finishes, which gives you something to change when the light does — UV in deep or stained water, natural in clear and bright conditions.
