The Gurt 45 is the smallest in the Gurt family — a floating soft plastic worm built for finesse. At 45 mm it suits light and ultralight tackle, and in freshwater it is a perch and zander bait first and foremost, particularly when fish are picking at small food and refusing anything bulky.
Its advantage is what happens when you stop. The floating material means the bait does not fall flat on the bottom — it stands and drifts with the current, so even a completely static presentation still looks alive. On a slow day, leaving it still in the right place often outfishes working it.
The body is tear-resistant but genuinely soft, and the jelly-like texture lets small-mouthed fish engulf the whole bait rather than nipping at it. A heavy proportion of Gurt colours are glow or UV, which is deliberate: these are designed to be seen in stained water and in low light.
If the colour you want is not listed or shows as unavailable, contact us. We can check availability and include specific colours in an upcoming order.
Perch and zander in freshwater. In saltwater it is effective on rock-dwelling and predatory species, which is the fishing it was originally designed around.
Price is per pack. Jigheads are not included.
