The Shad Bait 60 is the middle size in the range — a floating soft plastic shad with enough body to interest a better fish, while still light enough for finesse tackle. In freshwater it is a strong perch and zander bait, and the extra 10 mm over the 50 is often what separates a run of small fish from a proper one.
The floating material is the point of difference. Rested on the bottom it still rises and works with the current, so the bait keeps moving when you are not. That lets you fish it genuinely slowly — along a weed edge, over rock, or held in a current seam — without it going dead in the water.
Tear-resistant enough to survive repeated strikes, and soft enough that a cautious fish takes the whole bait instead of pulling at the tail.
